Frequency control servicesInternational Crystal Manufacturing Company, Inc. (ICM) offers a broad range of U.S.-made crystals, precision crystals, oscillators, filters, TCXO/VCTCXOs, and Quartz Microbalance products. We have manufactured frequency control products at our plant in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma since 1951. To better serve ICM customers, we provide specialized frequency control services in addition to our standard and custom products. We offer a group of specialized services to our major customers OEMs, Municipal Utilities, Maintenance and Repair Operations, and other frequency control product users that need additional services for their crystals, precision crystals, Quartz Microbalance products, oscillators, TCXO/VCTCXOs, and filters. Specialized frequency control services offer by ICM include: DesignICM engineers assist customers in determining the necessary specifications for their application. Once we understand our customers' specific frequency control application, our engineers, who average over 30 years in the industry, will recommend design options. They can also recommend changes to customer specifications that may maximize savings and/or improve performance. Once a design is agreed upon, we will quote the design so our customers can be ready for production.
PrototypingICM's sales and engineering staff will work with customer engineers to provide prototypes to determine the best possible specifications for your applications. First, we settle on a design and specifications with our customers’ engineers. ICM then creates a prototype. Next, we test the prototype and provide the test data, along with the prototype, to our customers for their evaluation. Based on the results generated during customer evaluation, ICM engineers will then optimize the prototype design. We then create a second prototype, test it, provide the test data and send it to our customer for final evaluation. We are committed to providing prototypes that meet the design requirements 100%.
Sample testingICM sales and engineering staff will test your working samples to determine the exact correlation for all relevant parameters to your equipment. Do you have a working sample but are not sure of the exact specification. ICM provides both environmental and electrical testing at our facility? We can test crystals, oscillators and filters to produce product specifications. We can provide test data of all of the parameters of your frequency control components with ICM’s state of the art test equipment. Once the data is evaluated, our engineers will make suggestions to insure that future purchases are to the correct specifications.
Technical consultingICM engineers average over 30 years experience with frequency control components. We provide consulting services to help our customers develop product specifications, design suggestions, and needed testing parameters. We provide consulting services on temperature characteristics, pullability, required overtones, and more, and then suggest changes for improvement. We provide frequency control consulting services to assist our customers in developing the right product for there application.
Installation and temperature compensationWith over 50 years experience, ICM personnel are uniquely qualified to install and, if needed, to temperature compensate crystals in your oscillator. ICM has the specialized test equipment and expertise to accurately and economically match your oscillator to the crystals. We routinely work on channel elements for two-way radios and custom oscillators from our OEM customers.
Expedited productionICM offers expedited production on small quantities of crystals, oscillators, and filters that meet specific conditions. We will produce to meet required specifications if time allows. One of the main parameters of this program is that the customers must agree to take the product "as is" with no warranty. This program ensures that customers with critical time requirements will have product as soon as possible.
Customer-owned production testingICM engineers and technical staff provide environmental and electrical testing for customer-owned production parts. We test their parts to see if the products meet the original specifications. Once the environmental and electrical testing is completed, ICM personnel provide customers with the data in custom formats – printed or electronic. We make recommendations to assist our customers in the use of products that will best serve their frequency control needs.
Custom Stocking ProgramsICM offers custom stocking programs for customers that meet specific terms and conditions. We will produce to maintain predetermined agreed-upon inventory levels. One of the main parameters of this program is that the customers must agree to take the production and inventory commitment. This program ensures that customers always have access to needed levels of frequency control component inventory to meet their production requirements.
Scheduled Order ReleasesICM will manufacture customer-ordered frequency control products and then release orders for specified components and quantities, as our customer requires. By participating in the scheduled order release program, customers usually get larger production run cost benefits without the expense of carrying inventory. This program requires that the customer must agree to take all of the production commitment.
Custom ReportingBased on purchase order commitments, ICM will provide routine reporting concerning scheduled ship dates, changes in quantities, and other information if any variation occurs to the scheduled order date and quantities.
