International Crystal Manufacturing (ICM) carries a narrow line of TCXOs
/ VCTCXOs manufactured to ICM specifications by our affiliates.
A TCXO is a temperature compensated crystal oscillator. Compensation
components have been added to enhance the temperature stability of the
basic oscillator to improve performance in more critical applications.
A VCTCXO is a Voltage Controlled Temperature Compensated Oscillator.

TXCO / VCTCXO product types
ICM offers two major categories of TCXOs / VCTCXOs:

Thru hole TCXOs / VCTCXOs
- leaded holder typically manually installed used where size is not
a critical issue and automated production is not necessary.

Surface mount TCXOs / VCTCXOs
- leadless components designed for pick and place or automatated production
and used where size is a critical issue.
Ranges
ICM TCXOs and VCTCXOs typically have frequency ranges from 9.6 MHz to
20 MHz.

Typical applications
TCXOs are used in telecom timing modules, wireless systems reference
oscillators (Microwave, etc.), precision instruments, and other frequency
sensitive applications.
VCTCXOs are often used for frequency control in tactical radios, telecom
timing modules, wireless systems, phase lock loop applications, and reference
oscillators.
